Area 59 class to create 3-D printers | Local News
Register now for the Gillette College Area59 Makerspace next month. Participants will be building their own 3-D printer.
Individuals and pairs are welcome to join the class, provided they are at least 12 years old. With the help of a teacher, students will be able to build their own Ender-3 3D printer using a kit. May 10 will be devoted to the construction of the printer. May 12, however, will focus on software usage and maintenance basics.
Participants in the class must bring their laptops to download the software. Anybody in the class may reach out to the instructor to ask questions on their journey to become a 3-D printer wizard after they have taken the printer home.
