Creality Launches K1 3D Printer, Its Answer to Bambu and Prusa, Plus a Slew of New Products

Creality has been a major player in 3D printing for five years. Creality is a leading 3D printing company. Ender 3 Creality printers are often on our list. They are one of the most popular 3D consumer-grade printers ever. The best 3D printers. Creality’s ninth anniversary is celebrated this year with the release of its flagship 3D printer. The K1You can also find a variety of other products.

Very similar to the Bambu Lab X1 CarbonThe K1 or Voron is a CoreXY3D printer. It prints in a way that the print area shrinks as the printer prints. It is stable, which allows it to print at very high speeds. Creality claims that the K1 or the K1 Max can print at 600 millimeters per sec — approximately 12 times faster than the Ender 3 (which prints at 50mm/s).

The K1 Max, an upgrade to the K1, has a larger printing area of 300x300x300mm (in comparison to the K1’s 220x220x250mm). It also includes advanced features such lidar to correct your first layers and an AI camera that detects errors in the print while it’s printing. These features can also be added to the K1 as an optional extra.

Creality also revealed several other 3D printers, laser cutters, and other machines. It is too many to list them all here. CNET will test them as soon as they are available. Here’s a quick rundown:

  • Halot-Mage/Pro: The resin 3D printer has been dubbed “one the fastest resin 3D printing machines on the market” and features a tilting lid.
  • Falcon 2 40-watt laser cutterCreality’s 22-watt laser cutter is now updated. It can cut more materials than ever before.
  • CR-Scan Ferret: It’s a handheld scanner for 3D scanning that is very lightweight, so it can be used without the use of a turntable.
